Codeq8 Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Codeq8 account and associated Codeq8 data, email support@codeq8.com with the subject "Codeq8 account deletion request." Include your GitHub username and the email address you use with Codeq8 so we can verify account ownership before processing the request.

You can use this page even if you have already deleted the mobile app from your device. If you still have the mobile app installed, open the account menu from the notification inbox and choose Account deletion to open this same web resource.

After we verify ownership, we delete or deidentify personal information that Codeq8 controls for your account, including Codeq8 account identity records, active sessions, mobile push tokens, mobile notification state, read markers, preferences, and support records where deletion is appropriate.

If your account belongs to an organization or repository workspace, some workspace, repository, chat, run, audit, billing, or security records may be retained when needed to preserve team-owned history, comply with law, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, maintain security, or operate records owned by another user or organization.

Codeq8 connects to third-party services such as GitHub and app-store providers. Deleting a Codeq8 account does not delete your GitHub account, GitHub repositories, GitHub organization data, app-store account, or other third-party data controlled by those providers. Use those providers' account and data controls for deletion requests directed to them.

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Backup copies and operational logs may persist for a limited period before they expire through routine retention processes.
